What can I expect?
What is the condition of Kuladot items?
Kuladot sells vintage items which have been used. We make every effort to describe items accurately as there will often be age-related wear. Please read the description and look at the photographs carefully, plus contact us if you have any questions. See below if there is a problem with your item.
Gift wrapping and packaging
If you select gift, this means the price/invoice will not be included. A standard Etsy print-out with your gift message is also available. We will happily giftwrap an item and include a more personalised hand-written message on a Kuladot card for a small additional charge. Please message us for details/price.
When we send items, we package them very carefully to ensure they are protected. We care about the planet and will re-use packaging materials wherever possible.
What if there is a problem with my item?
If you need to return an item or you have a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our utmost to sort it out so that you are a happy customer. We want Kuladot customers to be happy!
Electrical Items and Safety
We PAT test our plug-in electrical items for safety before selling for use and they will come with a 'pass' sticker. Items which are to be wired in to the mains, such as ceiling light fittings, are untested and must be fitted (possibly re-wired) and tested by a qualified electrician.
Overseas deliveries and returns
We may be able to ship items overseas but please be aware that we will not send restricted items. The price quoted for shipping overseas will include tracking, insurance and any other costs we may incur when exporting goods. NOTE If you are outside the United Kingdom (including Europe), it is likely that you will have to pay import costs and taxes as well. These costs are the buyer's responsibility. More information should be available on your government's website. Please note that we are unable to accept returns from countries outside the UK but if you have a problem with your order please contact us and we will do our best to rectify it.
Delivery Costs - offshore UK / Highlands and Islands / Remote areas
Please check delivery costs with us before purchase if you are offshore UK or in remote regions as there may be excess charges. Delivery of large, bulky and/or very heavy items to remote or offshore UK locations might not always be possible. We will of course do our best but please contact us before purchase to check the situation.
Delivery to place of work / storage or shipping facility
Kuladot cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused to goods once delivered to your chosen address. We pack our items safely for the delivery method we have chosen (sometimes we will deliver personally). Our packaging may not meet the needs of further transit or some types of storage and it is the customer's responsibility to ensure items are packaged effectively for any further shipping planned.
Use of Kuladot London pictures and images - copyright
We work hard to create images of our goods for sale - please do not steal them. If you would like to use our pictures for anything, please contact us for permission. All photographs used in our listings and on our website remain the intellectual and creative property of Kuladot London (Lesley and Ash) and are therefore not allowed to be reproduced without permission as per copyright law.
Valuations and Prices of Sold Items
Kuladot London is unable to give valuations or guide prices for your items - the value of vintage items fluctuates depending on popularity, condition and availability. We are also unable to disclose the price paid for sold items to protect our customers' privacy.
